Terms & Conditions for Wedding Bookings
1 Deposit: Once we have received a provisional booking from you, the date will be reserved for you for two weeks (14 days). During this time we will require a £350.00 deposit from you to secure the venue and we will give you written confirmation of your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable. If we do not receive your deposit we regret we will not be able to guarantee to hold your booking.
2 Cancellations. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking we require written confirmation from you. This cancellation will be effective from the day we receive the letter. In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to make the following charges.
More than 1 year notice . No Charge 6 months to 12 months .. 25% of estimated account 2 months to 6 months 50% of estimated account 1 month to 2 months . 75% of estimated account 1 month or less .. 100% of estimated account
The charge will be
based on the original numbers of guests booked. Because of the potential
expense in the event of cancellation, we strongly recommend that you
consider specific wedding insurance. 3 Damage:
The client shall indemnify The Lastra Farm Hotel for any loss or damage
caused on the premises by themselves or their guests.
4 Wine substitution: In the unlikely event of the wines listed being unavailable on the due date, we reserve the right to vary the wines specified.
5 Declined bookings: We reserve the right to decline booking during the provisional period and before the deposit has been received by us.
6 Account settlement: The final number of guests to be charged for will be the number confirmed at 7 days prior to the event. The Final account will be payable no later than the morning of departure of the bride & groom
7 Bar hours: The Bar will be open for the duration of your wedding with last orders at 12.00 am. Both bars will close at 12.30am - this is to include residents and non residents.
8 Accommodation: Complimentary Bride & Groom Accommodation is offered on the booking of a wedding reception of 60 guests or more, subject to availability, and when the wedding breakfast & evening function is held at the hotel.
